FREA president, Robert Stonerock, recently leased a Chevy Volt, one of the first to arrive here in Central Florida. He now runs it completely from his home photovoltaic system which had been producing more electricity than his house consumed. It should be no surprise to anyone today that our governmental systems are in crisis – both state and federal. Critical issues such as clean energy development are constantly roadblocked by officials that do not serve in the public interest. Gerrymandering of voting districts in Florida is one way politicians disrupt our democratic system. FREA asks everyone to get involved with the redistricting process now taking place in preparation for the 2012 election. Learn how our current elected officials are now trying to thwart the will of the people and maintain a broken system. Support organizations that are working to keep them honest and accountable.
